Merger complete[edit]

checkY Merger complete. All information from Russley School has been merged into this article, per Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Russley School. Northamerica1000(talk) 15:56, 19 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Good - thanks for doing it. Where it should really go is of course the article on the adjacent suburb of Russley, but that's currently a redlink. I see whether I have time to put something together. Schwede66 17:41, 19 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]
A bit late, but Russley is no longer a redlink and includes basic information about the school. The material on Russley School was removed from this article in January 2016.-gadfium 04:05, 11 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]

The link to Avonhead School "Our Vision"[edit]

The link to Avonhead school's Our Vision appears to the reader as an article but is actually a link to the Avonhead School website. This may want to be changed. CoderThomasB (talk) 07:21, 13 January 2022 (UTC)CoderThomasB[reply]

The only link that I can see is from within a reference and those are supposed to be external links. Does that answer your question, CoderThomasB? Schwede66 16:45, 10 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]

I was talking about the reference link. It looks like it should link to an article on the Avonhead School website but instead, it is just a link to the Avonhead School home page. CoderThomasB (talk) 07:21, 13 January 2022 (UTC)CoderThomasB[reply]

CoderThomasB, I see; that wasn't clear from your original post. Would you like to have a look around on their website and find a suitable article? I can certainly update the link if you have success. Also, when you post on a talk page, you need to sign your comment using four tildes, like so: ~~~~ Schwede66 01:25, 11 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]

If more was added to the Avonhead School section would it be worthy of being split into a new article?[edit]

I have plans to add more history and detail to the Avonhead School section of this article. How big could it get before being needed to split into a new article? CoderThomasB (talk) 01:40, 16 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Not a good idea to split it into its own article, as primary schools are mostly not notable. Hence, a standalone article is unlikely to be kept on Wikipedia. Schwede66 10:46, 16 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Could I add a 'Infobox school' template to the Avonhead subsection/subheading, or are info boxes only used for standalone articles? CoderThomasB (talk) 23:22, 21 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]
That is sometimes done but there are no firm rules around this. Be prepared if other editors don't like it. Schwede66 09:18, 22 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]
