This is indeed an inaccurate article. The first Ashton flew as stated in 1950, more than a year after the first flight of the Comet. The potential confusion may arise from the Ashton's predecessor, the Tudor 8, which did in fact fly with jet engines earlier than the Comet - although calling the Tudor 8 an airline is stretching it a bit, it was little more than a flying testbed. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 195.229.241.172 (talk) 10:55, 31 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]
