Contradiction in article re founding date of Awatovi

Our article states, in Pre-European History, that "Awatovi was founded sometime after 1300..." In the next section, we say that Awatovi "had already been in existence for about 450 years" in 1540, when Spanish contact occurred. ??? TIA, Pete Tillman (talk) 19:18, 13 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Polacca Wash

Should there be some reference here to Christy Turner's belief that the Polacca Wash remains are those of Hopi massacred after the conflict of 1700? The site was extremely important in the development of the Anasazi cannibalism theory.European Prehistorian (talk) 16:48, 28 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]
