Airfield?

Balti City looks like an airfield rather than a proper airport. It doesn't seem to have ever had anything other than a grass landing strip. Looks more like a crop-duster base for old AN-2 aircraft. Further, the whole airfield looks abandoned and/or closed on Google Maps (no runway markings, no nothing). Have there ever been commercial (not GA) flights from here (in the post-war era)?
