Whistle register?[edit]

I know the man can sing VERY high, but whistle register singing needs to be documented... got a concert review or other verifiable source that can back this up? If you need help look at the way Minnie Riperton and Amel Larrieux were justified into the category. Souldier77 22:49, 10 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Possible copyvio[edit]

Some of this reads as if it may have been taken from a Gospel music website (possible article copyvio). I'm marking it as in need of attention by the Gospel music / Christian music Task Force. Absolon S. Kent (talk) 20:27, 11 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Who copied from whom?

Thanks[edit]

Thanks Souldier77 for clearing this up. Absolon S. Kent (talk) 16:47, 10 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Self-Promotional article[edit]

Birth Name: Anthony Charles Williams II, The greatest Musician in the World" is a clue that this article is written by Tonex himself or his surrogates. That in itself is not against the "rules" but I think the Wikipedia police should keep a close eye on this article, so that documented negative and controversial issues are not scrubbed without due cause.normsy 13:48, 11 August 2009 (UTC) —Preceding unsigned comment added by Jermeym (talkcontribs)

Omission of him coming out of the closet[edit]

not only does this strike me as a self-promotional article, it blatantly omits the most glaring controversy NOT under the controversy heading...he's a Christian gay pastor. Hello??? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 72.179.134.26 (talk) 01:53, 6 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Article needs citations for basic biographical assertions[edit]

Article lacks a number of citations to verify claims that otherwise appear self-promotional, fictional, or gratuitously embellished. For example, stating as fact that the release of artist's first album (recorded by the artist at home while in his early teens) had an impact recalled to have been as significant as the live stage debut of Michael Jackson's moonwalk without citation. Why utilize an unnecessarily clunky comparison unless it had been utilized by a source pertinent to the biography in the first place? If a pertinent source did make such a comparison, the source should be cited. Without the appropriate attributions, the article appears to be composed of indirectly-related hyperbole as opposed to basic fact.2605:E000:9090:5D00:D07B:7DFC:4EC6:B50E (talk) 08:54, 20 September 2016 (UTC)[reply]
