Don't merge. The proposed merger is with a page titled "AG Horniman" (an error in the title) and has fewer details and sources and nothing in it that isn't mentioned in the "BG Horniman" article. So I say, lets keep BG and DELETE AG, not merge it. Ashwin147 (talk) 04:13, 15 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]

British or Irish

I'm unable to confirm the frequent claim that Horniman was Irish. He was apparently born in Sussex in England to an officer of the Royal Navy and his wife who was the daughter of a British diplomat. Quite possibly there may be an Irish connection further back in the family, but it needs to be substantiated before describing Horniman himself as Irish, or indeed even as of Irish descent.Jsmith1000 (talk) 14:44, 14 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]
