Question

[edit]

Is Mrs. Brown (1997) not a BBC Film, or was it made by another BBC production arm? Bob talk 09:53, 17 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I think it just came out of (or partly from) BBC Scotland's drama budget. Bradley0110 (talk) 23:43, 23 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Cleanup

[edit]

Hi, having a look at this page it is a mess. Here are my recommendations for improvements to the article:

  • Expansion is needed on the operation, history and notability of the company. At present this is next to non-existent. The BBC Films website along with the BFI may give some directions.
  • The productions should in my opinion be separated off into a separate list article, maybe 'List of BBC Films productions' or similar, with a paragraph instead summarising notable successes or award winning films throughout the companies history. However a list is too daunting and difficult to absorb effectively.
  • Expand the see also and external links sections if helpful
  • Add some references

Hope that this may help. Rafmarham (talk) 22:27, 29 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Dear sir, I'm making a few changes to the list so that there's more movies. I hope you appreciate it! & remember, don't push that delete button! (I really mean it) Signed, an anonymous user (I'm anonymous because I like it that way) :)
