Re:Drama[edit]

I think that users should be informed that Shannon is no longer running BMEzine, whatever the reasons are. In an unemotional fashion. I'll remove ex-wife if you want. -notenderwiggin —Preceding unsigned comment added by 130.63.203.129 (talk) 21:22, 25 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I really wish someone would write an artice on Shannon. Unfortunately I am not elloquent nor knowledgeable enough to do it myself.

There was an article on Shannon, taken from BME's wiki, but it was deleted, as he wasn't notable enough.

It seems to be back now. the infamous rmx 00:57, 30 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

It was never removed in the first place, the statement above is just one more instance of people attempting to harm the website. All rumours spread on the internet have no place on this wiki page. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 142.162.109.251 (talk) 02:29, 27 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Censorship[edit]

I don't know why it doesn't give a little disclaimer for the websites. I'm gonna go ahead and add that, and if for some odd reason, you feel as though these links shouldn't come with a warning...

well, do as you must. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 69.133.92.185 (talk) 01:00, 18 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Please turn off the links.[edit]

Ugh..i clicked the link..although i did see the graphic content warning...I personally think the links should be removed..or not clickable. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Aginor 27 (talkcontribs) 05:13, 27 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I think that if you saw the graphic content warning before clicking the links anything that you viewed to make yourself uncomfortable is your own responsibility. the infamous rmx (talk) 15:35, 3 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I am removing incorrect information. Posting on the BME wiki page that there is "Drama" with posts that do not accurately reflect the situation do nothing but cause damage to the owners of the site. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 99.234.17.115 (talk) 15:16, 23 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Instead of simply removing information, continue to state that a conflict occurred and is resolved or still ongoing. --CanadianLinuxUser (talk) 15:19, 23 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

What drama occurred? Do you have a reliable source? Evidence? Verifiability? No, you don't. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 99.234.17.115 (talk) 15:23, 23 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

The word "drama" is your word in this page... not mine... but that is irrelevant... "something" occurred and a conflict occurred. To erase it as if it never happened is incorrect. --CanadianLinuxUser (talk) 15:26, 23 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I am in the process of moving BME Pain Olympics to its own page. Do not undo this. It needs to be in its own page. Team4Technologies (talk) 15:36, 20 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Song[edit]

Is it really required to note that a song by Mortification is playing in the background of this video? —Preceding unsigned comment added by Rmx256 (talkcontribs) 21:27, 27 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I agree that this little tidbit is a bit random; however, I think it is these random, seemingly meaningless tidbits that make Wikipedia so wonderful. As an example, I was making a mixtape for a friend the over day -- I had pranked this friend by sending him a link to "BME Pain Olympics," so including "Livin' Like a Zombie" (which I was only aware of via this article) was the perfect song for that mixtape. Just my opinion. Arickp (talk) 08:17, 6 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Wikiproject Body Modification[edit]

I'm trying to start a Wikiproject on Body Modification, if anyone wants to join go here http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:WikiProject_Council/Proposals/Body_Modification ScarTissueBloodBlister (talk) 01:45, 16 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

BME vs BMEzine[edit]

I think that this should be moved back to "BME (website)". "BME" has been the name of the project since the beginning, and is the primary prefix by which all the subsites are referenced. In conversation, people generally call the site "BME" rather than "BMEzine". In addition, the website is now using the URL "bme.com" after a lengthy (and still ongoing) battle over the domain name with Greg Ricks (details of which should be added). Snowrail (talk) 14:19, 5 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Conflict of Interest[edit]

User Snowrail that contributed to this article is Shannon, the founder of BMEzine according to his post here:Contacting Shannon N1of2 (talk) 23:58, 17 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Inline citations, original research, primary sources[edit]

Article needs to be brought up to wikipedia standards with inline reliable citations instead of what may represent original research. Also most referenced sources at the bottom are the magazine itself. N1of2 (talk) 23:56, 17 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]
