Spiritual successor[edit]

Do you think BMW 3 Series Gran Turismo is a spiritual successor to the BMW 3 Series Compact? The only things we can see are the naming and hatchback body style.

Body style classification[edit]

Hello. Does anyone know the official classification for the Gran Turismo body style? I can't find anything on the BMW website. Some reviews call it a "hatchback", but this probably gives the false impression that it's a traditional hatchback. Cheers, 1292simon (talk) 21:49, 9 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Merger proposal[edit]

The 3 GT was only produced for the F30 generation, and shares many aspects with the other F30 body styles. Therefore I proposed that BMW 3 Series Gran Turismo is merged into BMW 3 Series (F30). Cheers, 1292simon (talk) 23:20, 24 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]
