Cleanup here[edit]

Ugh, what a mess. I'll try to resume.

BRG as of today only owns the Riddell brand. Bell has been divested and has its article at Bell Sports.
Easton Diamond and Easton Hockey were both acquired by what is now Peak Achievement Athletics, parent of Bauer Hockey. The Easton brand is no longer used on hockey gear, having been merged into Bauer.
Easton Archery is family owned, was never part of BRG, and should have its own article.

I've reverted the change to Easton (company). It might make sense (although the unedited split from here makes it very confusing), but the majority of incoming wikilinks (bar the ones you just created) are for non-archery uses. This suggests the same would apply for external urls also, all of which are now effectively broken. Find a new name for your article and leave the redirect to its existing (if obsolete) purpose. I haven't reverted the change at BRG Sports but this article in its new form isn't very informative and is completely unsourced. Lithopsian (talk) 14:12, 6 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

PROD comment[edit]

Admittedly the sources in this article aren't the best, but I disagree that this is a non-notable company... At the time of its creation in 2006, it had 2500 employees and an estimated $600M in annual sales[2]. That link also describes the company as "a monster of the sports world"... The Easton and Riddell brands have been around for decades and are well-recognized in American sports. There's room for improvement here, but I don't think a deletion would be helpful to our readers. 162 etc. (talk) 23:40, 26 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]
