I have undone the change making this page a redirect to the main article for this class, because each of the other preserved Standard 5s has their own page, and I started to create one for 73082, but had only entered in the tech specs, with the intention of filling in details later.

The tech specs already appear in the main article for this class, and not in the entries for each of the other preserved Standard 5s, so it seems pointless to duplicate them . . . Wayne Riddock (talk) 11:11, 23 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Here are some suggestions for improving this article. I can’t edit the article myself because I have a Conflict of Interest.

1. The opening paragraph is not a summary of the content, but is a history of the locomotive up to 1959. Suggestion: Move the paragraph into the main text and draft a new introduction.

2. The article needs additional citations. Suggestion: Find and document them from the References, Further Reading and External Links.

3. The information content in the article is sparse. Suggestion: Further research in the References etc.
