Why was the page deleted?

It's about a well-known (non-profit) linguistics magazine. --Latikaakital (talk) 20:12, 22 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]

The wikipedia community hiccups and coughs occasionally. I suggest forgetting about that. – Uanfala (talk) 20:16, 22 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Notability

[edit]

Stephen Fry has tweeted about the magazine to his >10 million followers: https://twitter.com/stephenfry/status/452380574268014592

The magazine's linguistic consultant is David Crystal, one of Britain's most famous linguists, see his Wikipedia article.

As far as I know it is the only magazine with a linguistics focus in the UK. Latikaakital (talk) 20:52, 22 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Chris Legard did an interview with the editors for Radio 4. The resulting program treated the magazine as well as its Biblical namesake. Babel, Word of Mouth. Cnilep (talk) 01:49, 23 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]
