In the article, for power transmission, somebody wrote: "A back-to-back connection for electric power transmission is a high-voltage direct-current (HVDC) system with both ends in the same switchyard.". This is totally vague. They need to explain clearly the meaning of 'system with both ends in the same switchyard'. They also write 'where no DC transmission line is necessary', which is also vague, because - if we're talking about HVDC, then what's the meaning of 'where no DC transmission line is necessary'?
