There is a source that says that this song samples the song 'Sexual Healing', but there is nothing on the credits of the album, so the source is wrong Mario Maraschi (talk) 19:36, 26 February 2016 (UTC)[reply]

The source ("Macklemore & Ryan Lewis Debut at No. 1 on Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums Chart". Billboard. 9 March 2016. Retrieved 10 March 2016.) states:

"A remix featuring Usher and Zayn (released Feb. 26) causes a 175 percent spike in the song’s overall downloads to 42,000 (all versions of the song are merged for tracking purposes), propelling the track up the chart. 69 percent of its sales stem from the new version."

User:Mario Maraschi keeps misrepresenting the source, claiming that it says 39%, when the source clearly states 69%.

Honestly i found that irrilevant, it's the same song just remixed, so it's irrilevant--Just editing with a smile (talk) 18:51, 21 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]
Like I said to Mario Maraschi: "It would be misleading to hide the fact that most of the sales came from the remix rather than the original, as stated by Billboard." Maestro2016 (talk) 22:42, 21 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]
The remix and the song are the same song, now i explain it better, if you buy the one track song you'll not have the remix, but if you buy the 2 tra ms edition you'll have the song and the remix at the same timer, so if you buy only the remix it will not chart "back to sleep" but it will chart "back to sleep remix", so when it says that the 69 percent of it's sales stem for the new version, it meandri the 2 tracks edition, o now you understand?
That's not true. If you purchase the remix on iTunes, you only receive the remix, not the original. You have to pay a separate charge if you want the original as well. Both the original and the remix are sold separately on iTunes. Nevertheless, I could re-word that part to state something along the lines of "69% of its sales that week stem from the remix." You don't understand, if you buy just the remix, didn't chart "Back to Sleep" but "Back to sleep (remix)", (for example look here at 37 what it says)--Just editing with a smile (talk) 11:45, 22 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]
The Billboard source above already states that "all versions of the song are merged for tracking purposes", specifically in reference to "Back to Sleep" and its remix. Bringing up an unrelated song on the UK chart doesn't prove anything. Maestro2016 (talk) 11:54, 22 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]
Where it says "all versions of the song are merged for tracking purposes"? i can't found it --Just editing with a smile (talk) 12:16, 22 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]
oh i found it, you are right sorry :)--Just editing with a smile (talk) 12:18, 22 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]
