Distinction between TV series or miniseries?[edit]

Do we know definitively if this is a TV series or a miniseries? The star source uses both terms... Vaselineeeeeeee★★★ 14:08, 14 August 2017 (UTC)[reply]

As Bearcat said in an edit summary, now that we know it's renewed for a second season, it should no longer be considered a miniseries, hence name changed back to TV series. http://rogersmediatv.ca/pr_detail.php?id=1452 Vaselineeeeeeee★★★ 03:08, 7 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Bad Blood[edit]

(from CAWylie's talkpage)

Hey again. Bad Blood (TV series) (not miniseries anymore) has been renewed for a second season. I can't seem to figure out how to move your file picture name for Bad Blood to take away Miniseries. If you know how, please do. Thanks. Vaselineeeeeeee★★★ 00:40, 7 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]

@Vaselineeeeeeee: As long as it doesn't conflict with other so-named titles (it doesn't), it should be fine as is. I don't expect anyone in the future to be confused, and it still serves its purpose to "illustrate" the article and series. (Add: I also created the episode list page and redirected to the main. No rush to fill it in.) — Wyliepedia 00:08, 8 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Hi again. I see you've moved majority of the season summaries from the main Bad Blood (TV series) to the Bad Blood (season 1) and Bad Blood (season 2). I've looked at major TV series season articles, for example The Big Bang Theory (season 6), The Sopranos (season 3), Breaking Bad (season 3), Prison Break (season 2), etc etc. Before I moved the info back I wanted to show you this. I think the main reason for splitting into seasons is to have all the episode summaries in their own article as they take up most of the space, while the plot or summaries per season are left at the main page - with further info on individual episodes found at the season pages. Out of all those series you listed, only Breaking Bad and Prison Break main pages have any summary of the seasons. You'll notice, in good faith, I left some of Bad Blood's season info at its main page. I'm not against season summaries on the main page, unless they entail everything that happens in the season, which the former BBS1 description did. I haven't ever watched the show, but knowing that a main character dies at the end of the first season (just by visiting the main page) would not compel me to watch it, knowing what happens. As for "episode summaries", yes, those belong in the episode list tables, which I never touch, even though BBS1's exceed suggested MOS:TV length. Lastly, please direct any page edit issues to the respective talk pages, not here. Thanks. — Wyliepedia @ 14:36, 12 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]
You said season summary pages can be permitted in the main page if they entail everything, which Bad Blood did, but you still moved it to the season page? Since season pages usually do not have plots listed, I don't think this should be any different. So it said Vito died, on Wikipedia we don't really care about spoilers, it's the readers own prerogative to read it, after all, it is a summary of the season, so spoilers will be there - as in the end of Breaking Bad's season 4 and 5 summary with the death of Gus and Walt respectively. Respectfully, I will move the summaries back. Vaselineeeeeeee★★★ 14:55, 12 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]
I said "I'm not against season summaries on the main page, unless they entail everything that happens in the season, which the former BBS1 description did." It also has nothing to do with spoilers. If BB aired five or more seasons, that's a bloated main page, as Breaking Bad is at only 5 seasons and 110k in size, half of which are those season summaries. Revert and re-add it if you must, but my assistance is finished. — Wyliepedia @ 15:36, 12 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Respectfully, I disagree. I doubt Bad Blood will make another 5 seasons, let alone another couple, but I really think that the shows I listed have the plot/summary per season at the main page as a substantial (not an almost useless two sentences) transition to the season article where they can see the per episode summaries. I sincerely hope any assistance in the future is not "finished". Regards, Vaselineeeeeeee★★★ 16:09, 12 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]
