Requested move 31 October 2021[edit]

The following is a closed discussion of a requested move. Please do not modify it. Subsequent comments should be made in a new section on the talk page. Editors desiring to contest the closing decision should consider a move review after discussing it on the closer's talk page. No further edits should be made to this discussion.

The result of the move request was: moved. This has been open for more than a month without anyone taking part, so I don't think relisting it again is a good idea. WP:RMNOMIN says that an RM without responses can be closed. The proposer's rationale is that if you google "Playwright Badal" the top results are the subject of the article and most spell his last name as Sircar. I googled and verified this is correct. I see no reason to not perform this move. (non-admin closure) VR talk 06:02, 4 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Badal SarkarBadal Sircar – The subject is know in English context as Sircar, which is nothing but a varied method of transliteration. I googled to find that if you search "Playwright Badal", almost all results spell him Sircar. But Sarkar is also not an isolated one. Above all, I know not much about the subject myself, so I think familiar people should make a better judgment Appu (talk) 12:43, 31 October 2021 (UTC) Appu (talk) 12:43, 31 October 2021 (UTC) — Relisting. Natg 19 (talk) 01:12, 8 November 2021 (UTC)— Relisting. —usernamekiran • sign the guestbook(talk) 20:00, 15 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]
