Episode summaries

[edit]

Summaries of unaired episodes can not be verified until the episode hasn't aired yet. Previews do not give a valid episode summary as they are never complete and only server as a teaser. Summaries should always be complete giving all of the major events that occur in the episode within a reasonable amount of space (100 to 200 words). Also, the last such summary based on a preview, episode 16, was copied directly form a YouTube channel with only a few minor changes. This violates Wikipedia's policies relating to copyright and is unacceptable. --Farix (Talk) 02:27, 22 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Anonymous question... I probably should get an account on here...
As I'm sure you know, the Bakugan: New Vestroia series airs its latest episodes in Canada sometime in the morning, yet on YouTube the episode doesn't appear until many hours later, for whatever reason. But the episode has already aired several hours later. Does this mean that an episode summary can be posted even though a majority of people haven't seen the episode yet? (Apparently there's a new channel on a streaming site that will allow you to watch the new New Vestroia episode hours earlier than those waiting for the one on YouTube...) —Preceding unsigned comment added by 99.27.255.167 (talk) 02:41, 12 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]
It will become verifiable with the 7am Teletoon broadcast. However, the summary needs to be complete within the 100 to 200 word limit instead of being a teaser. --Farix (Talk) 10:15, 12 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Per WP:SPOILER, we are not concerned about spoiling people who have not yet seen the episode. If they don't want to be spoiled, they shouldn't be reading an episode list, which can reasonably be expected to contain plot summaries with spoilers. ダイノガイ千?!? · Talk⇒Dinoguy1000 18:07, 12 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks. Good to know... —Preceding unsigned comment added by 99.27.255.167 (talk) 02:48, 14 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Sometimes, the US Official Bakugan website gives out episode summaries. Some of them were removed, but I don't know if they were put back up. That may be where those summaries came from. --DQ13|Dino Queen 02:41, 10 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Gus's Death?

[edit]

I know that they were blasted away, but is it confirmed that Gus died? --DQ13|Dino Queen 02:41, 10 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

readded episde summary

[edit]

I readded the summary for the most recent episode since it actually already aired on the 11th on teletoon and not the 18th as claimed in the artice. Teletoon also has full episode downlaods so that should easily deal with any verfication issues. the Video can be seen here [[1]]. Please note if the video does not air direcly it can be found at new vestroia episode 100 (most likely at that number due to combining the two series) Also since this video is from one of the network airing the show and not from a site such as Youtube I don't think that any leagal or copyright problems should exist though plese remove the link if I am wrong.--76.69.164.191 (talk) 02:52, 15 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

We don't all live north of the 48th parallel. In fact some Canadians don't. The point is your source is useless outside of Canada. Either find an alternative source, a Wikipedian who lives in Canada, or remove the episode summary. – allennames 03:16, 15 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Actually, I am Canadian. I have tapped the episode myself and have seen it personally. I can canfirm that this episode has aired. Also regarding the video I am sure that there are many other Canadians on Wikipedia. There are likely a lot less Canadians on Wikipedia but there should be more than enough to confirm that the video is for the episode claimed. Also regarding your statement I also sersiosly doubt that a site like Hulu would be discounted since it can't be viewed in Canada.--76.69.164.191 (talk) 03:48, 15 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]
One person cannot confirm anything however trustworthy they are, you need at least two, preferably three. There is an IRC channel here[2] that you can turn to for help. Finally, Hulu does not carry Bakugan the Cartoon Network (United States) does. – allennames 05:00, 15 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Editors keep changing the air dates, so they really need be sourced since the dates are disputed. In fact, it is always good practice to source air dates and helps in the Featured List process. Just be sure that you use a reliable source and not an unreliable one. ANN's encyclopedia and TV Tome fall into the latter category. —Farix (t | c) 12:59, 15 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]
