Album infobox

I added a the new template album infobox and afterwards I realized that the Columbia issue I input was a reissue I have dated in the early eighties. I have since removed that and replaced it with the original Apple issue(s) from 1973 in both the UK and US. I just wanted to clarify why there are two edits of mine so close together. It was a mistake and hopefully no further corrections are needed. Feel free to make any comments on my Talk page. Thanks. PlasticBeat 05:49, 7 Jan 2005 (UTC)

Stunning

From the opening paragraph:

...it stunned everyone with its quality...

Let's rephrase this because in actuality, this album did not stun me with its quality. Though "Let Me Roll It" is pretty wicked... --buck 04:21, 28 March 2006 (UTC)

incident first night in lagos

would someone please tell the story of the robbery/mugging the first night in Lagos? I don't have references but the story is sourceable. Dioxinfreak (talk) 05:55, 19 October 2009 (UTC)

I would argue to change the section about the albums release. The critics called the album steller seems a bit to enthusiastic.

2010 Remaster

Shouldn't the upcoming 2010 remaster of the album, which Paul McCartney mentioned himself, be noted in this article? I think it needs a mention. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 75.3.131.88 (talk) 03:02, 22 May 2010 (UTC)

Why don't we wait until it comes out? Hotcop2 (talk) 11:03, 22 May 2010 (UTC)

The current posting of the Jon Landau review at the rollingstone.com website is truncated. To see the full, non-truncated version navigate through the archive link for the cite. The archive link is to the posted copy on rollingstone.com at its original url, and the text is not truncated.

Allmusic ratings

The article contains Album ratings for both the original release and the 2010 re-release with only an Allmusic review listed for the latter. Allmusic ratings, however, are shared among all releases (that is, Allmusic does not re-rate even if there are significant differences between releases [see "Funky Kingston", Toots & the Maytals]). So including a second Album ratings section whose one review has the identical rating as for the equivalent review in the first Album ratings section seems a little redundant.

The review, itself, and the author too are different for the re-release so it might make sense to quote the review and reference it that way rather than through a second Album ratings.
