Rewrite

[edit]

I just did a little rewrite and called it "History." I'm not sure that the last sentence is accurate; it may need to be corrected or deleted. I tried to condense several things into a short paragraph that would meet WP standards. This was only text, I've not attempted to cite anything yet. I would do more, but today is the 4th of July and I'm anxious to blow things up :) --Doc Tropics Message in a bottle 18:35, 4 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Fair use rationale for File:BandwidthLogo.png

[edit]

File:BandwidthLogo.png is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in Wikipedia articles constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 23:45, 31 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Multiple Issues

[edit]

I think I eliminated the POV problems, but the article still needs reliable citations and it is missing important information, e.g., name of other cofounder, date and info about IPO, robocalling and potential problems for the company due to public backlash about robocalls (I am not claiming that Bandwidth is responsible for robocalls, I simply noticed that an article about the FCC trying to crack down on robocalls appeared as "news" related to Bandwidth Inc. on the NASDAQ website.)   - Mark D Worthen PsyD (talk) 16:42, 8 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Edits

[edit]

I tried to address some of the issues raised by Mark D Worthen and some of the flags from the "This article has multiple issues" notifications. Namely, information has been added about the cofounder, date and info about the IPO, and included a study/partnership between Bandwidth and NC State University regarding robocalls. In regards to the current flags:

This article relies excessively on partisan sources. (November 2018) - I removed several links pointing to Bandwidth.com and replaced them with more relevant links from external sources.

This article needs additional citations for verification. (November 2018) - I added additional external citations where they felt appropriate.

This article relies too much on references to primary sources. (January 2020) - Again, multiple links to bandwidth.com were removed and replaced, generally with reports from major news outlets. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.70.217.92 (talk) 17:34, 5 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]
