I've popped a "npov" tag onto this article because I think it's written from the point of view of advocacy. It reads a little like propaganda. I'm also a little concerned about the reliability of the sources. --Tony Sidaway 04:31, 17 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Which sources are you concerned with? Index on Censorship is probably the leading publication in its field. Himāl Southasian is, as far as I know, a reputable publication not particularly associated with any particular viewpoint. Frontline is the magazine published by The Hindu, one of India's leading newspapers.
It seems to me that this is a pretty blatant case of oppression, comparable to what happened under apartheid in South Africa or Jim Crow in the U.S. South. There isn't really a need to present a view giving equal weight to a social organizer and to armed thugs. - Jmabel | Talk 02:32, 21 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]
At the time I made my remark, I informed Tony Sidaway on his user talk page. It's been several days, he has been editing on Wikipedia but hasn't responded to this, so I am assuming that he will not, and am removing the NPOV tag. - Jmabel | Talk 20:46, 23 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Too much Info on Bant Singh is on net. It's true story. There are many caste victims in India, Bant Singh is just one example. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 117.98.70.83 (talk) 14:31, 13 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]
