How did she die in 2002?

"Brain hemorrhage" the coroner said. Which leaves some space for speculations as she not only sold cocaine to other people (like Freddie Mercury) on a regular basis. Here's more info I did copy from differents websites: Barbara Valentin (December 15, 1940 – February 22, 2002) was an Austrian actress.

Born Ursula Ledersteger in Vienna, Austria to art director Hans Ledersteger and actress Irmgard Alberti. Valentin was dubbed the German Jayne Mansfield during her acting career. She worked in film, often with Rainer Werner Fassbinder.

Valentin was married twice, to writer Helmut Dietl (1976–1983) and to actor John Ashton (1983–1986).

During the 1980s, she was romantically involved with Freddie Mercury, appearing in Queen's videoclip "It's a Hard Life" (1984), they remained friends and she supported the fight of HIV organizations against the disease after his death. She became Icon of the Munich gay scene.

On February 22, 2002, Valentin died of a stroke in Munich. She is buried in Ostfriedhof cemetery in Munich. 80.32.117.89 (talk) 12:56, 15 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]
