Contested deletion[edit]

This article should not be speedily deleted for lack of asserted importance because Bare Lit is the UK's first literature festival for writers of colour to be held annually. The inaugural festival was attended by over 600 guests and was widely covered in UK and international media (Guardian, Independent, New York Times amongst others). As such, it has at least the same relevance as other literature festivals held in the UK and deserves a page on Wikipedia Mmmmend (talk) 14:15, 22 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]
