GA review (see here for criteria)
  1. It is reasonably well written.
    a (prose): b (MoS):
I don't get the sentence "He replaced Chief Wiggum when the group heard him singing in a beautiful tenor voice in the restroom of Moe's Tavern". Did Barney become chief of police, and who is him Barney of Wiggum?
    * Also, can the sentence "Barney worked for his Uncle Al at the Bowl-A-Rama for a time[5] and had a snowplowing business" be changed to something like "Barney worked for his Uncle Al at the Bowl-A-Rama for a time.[5]" (new sentence) "During that same time Barney's friend Homer owed a snowplowing business. Envious of Homers success...". Just a suggestion.
    * In the NASA part, was there a reason why Barney reverted to his old ways or couldn't he resist the bottle?
    * I had to read this sentence a few times before getting it, "there happened to be scheduled the table read of a script...", can it be rephrased to something like "a table read happened to be sceduled, of a script...".
    * "he believed that it was too similar to "Duffless", so turned it down.[18]", can this be rephrased to either "he believed that it was too similar to "Duffless", so he turned it down.[18]" or "he believed that it was too similar to "Duffless", and turned it down.[18]"
    * what do you mean with "wave two" and "wave 11"?, also if you explain to me what you mean with wave, either refer to them as "wave two" and "wave eleven" or "wave 2" and "wave 11"
    Done.
  2. It is factually accurate and verifiable.
a (references): b (citations to reliable sources): c (OR):
    Links check out.
  3. It is broad in its coverage.
    a (major aspects): b (focused):
I think that saying that "Mr. Plow" placed sixth on Entertainment Weekly's list of the best 25 The Simpsons episodes, is not necessary, since "Mr. Plow" is not mentioned in the article.
Yes it is mentioned (several times), just not by title.
  4. It follows the neutral point of view policy.
    Fair representation without bias:
  5. It is stable.
    No edit wars etc.:
  6. It is illustrated by images, where possible and appropriate.
a (images are tagged and non-free images have fair use rationales): b (appropriate use with suitable captions):
  7. Overall:
    Pass/Fail:
    Please solve the above issues, good luck.--Music26/11 21:18, 15 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]
I decided to do this since the article nominator appears to be away (and probably wouldn't respond anyway). I have fixed all of the concerns and also copyedited the article. It really is futile since the editor who nominated it will eventually revert all of my changes, but oh well. -- Scorpion0422 01:04, 16 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]
It looks good enough for passing now, I've sent the nominator a message, so that won't be a problem.--Music26/11 12:01, 16 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]
