Federal and provincial[edit]

According to Elections Canada, Barrie is the name of the federal district [I hope this link will work]. According to Elections Ontario [1], Barrie-Simcoe-Bradford is the provincial. Just for the record so we can stop playing revert wars. Thanks. - File:Ottawa flag.png nathanrdotcom (TCW) 04:31, 8 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

The article makes it clear that "Barrie" will elect an MPP at the next provincial election. The Elections Ontario site shows the 2003 riding, which was "Barrie-Simcoe-Bradford". Ground Zero | t 13:17, 8 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Move this page?[edit]

Since the provincial electoral district is also known as Barrie, I'm suggesting moving this page to Barrie (federal electoral district). Does anyone else agree? Wikada - TALK CONT ISU 14:37, 8 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

nope. Federal takes precedence. -- Earl Andrew - talk 23:54, 8 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]
