Why does this page need cleanup? Clearly it's a stub, but a pretty well written one, I would have thought. Mickthefish | Talk 07:56, 28 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I've talked with the user who added cleanup tags and improved the article a bit, adding more links and changing the language so it reads more fluently. The Selected Works section still needs work which I'll try and do when I can. Mickthefish | Talk 08:36, 6 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Notability

[edit]

While I agree that Barry is a significant person in his field, this could be said of many other chemical engineering academics in the UK alone. Is he really notable enough for an encyclopedia? Being Lady Trent Professor just about meets the Wikipedia guidelines, but this is very weak and there is a lack of citation of publication ABOUT him (biographies on the receipt of awards etc).Chemical Engineer (talk) 20:54, 27 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]
