Pulitzer "nominations"[edit]

It costs $50 to "nominate" someone for a Pulitzer; this is not a notable matter (see http://openchannel.msnbc.msn.com/_news/2012/05/09/11608553-conservative-author-jonah-goldberg-drops-claim-of-two-pulitzer-nominations for further discussions). Accordingly, I removed mention of the two "nominations" for books by Sanders:

In 1998 Sanders was nominated for the Pulitzer Prize by Harper's magazine for his book Alienable Rights: The Exclusion of African Americans in a White Man's Land, 1619-2000.[1] In 1994 Sanders received his first Pulitzer nomination from Random House for his book A is for Ox: Violence, Electronic Media, and the Silencing of the Written Word.

I would beg to differ with the definition of "notable" spewed here without question. In fact, I would hazard to think the man above is quite possibly behind the curve here. What's up his? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 66.81.44.37 (talk) 05:27, 14 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]
