I FEEL AS THOUGH PRODUCER "SOUNDZ" IS PRETTY MUCH A CONFIRMED PRODUCER ON THE ALBUM...HE SHOULD AT LEAST BE ADDED TO THE PRODUCERS/WRITERS LIST RIGHT UNDER THE ALBUM COVER...IM JUST SAYIN...LOL —Preceding unsigned comment added by 98.64.67.192 (talk) 05:01, 24 July 2010 (UTC)  t First of all do not type in capitals, it looks like your shouting. Secodnly only once source mentions that Soundz produced the song but its not properly confirmed yet. Thirdly requests are only accepted if they are made in there form "Can you please change X from Y or add X to Y because...". Hey, i just wanted to request that somebody changes the release date on Basic Instinct. The release date is not August 17th anymore, it has now changed to October 5th, the album has been pushed back, as many internet site's are claiming. And now Amazon, has confirmed the new release date. So i just wanted somebody to change it, dont want to give people a false release date you know.

Heres the link to amazon: http://www.amazon.com/Basic-Instinct-Ciara/dp/B003T8FLMC/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=music&qid=1279773300&sr=8-1

{{editsemiprotected}} I want to request that somebody adds that, in promotion for the album, Ciara performed at SummerJam this last weekend, where she performed new material from the album including "Ride", "Gimme That", and "Get It Girl", and that she also performed past hits. Even Rap-Up.com, posted an article and videos of her performing the new materal.. Heres the link: http://www.rap-up.com/2010/08/02/video-ciara-busts-a-move-in-dallas/

I note in the article body comment text it declares, STOP ADDING RECORDED TRACKS. ALL SOURCED SONGS ARE ALREADY MENTIONED IN PROSE. ONLY AND ONLY A FULLY CONFIRMED AND SOURCED TRACKLISTING FROM MORE THAN ONE SOURCE MAY BE LISTED HERE
Therefore, please supply independent references to show this event is notable, and reinstate your request.  Chzz  ►  01:44, 3 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

{{editsemiprotected}} I would like to request that you guys update the single area, it states that "Ride" now peaks at number five, but last week the single moved up to number four. So it should be updated. Thanks

{{editsemiprotected}} I would like to request that somebody changes the information surrounding Basic Instinct's second single. The second single is in FACT! "Gimme Dat", Ciara herself confirmed this on her twitter, plus even just moments ago posted the OFFICIAL single artwork for the single!! She even told fans to start requesting it on every Radio Sation! why? because it is the official second single. Yes, previously Billboard stated that there was no second single just yet! but thats WRONG! you can even go on Ciara's official twitter right now, and it will show her posting of "Gimme Dat". Heres the link: http://twitter.com/CIARA & heres the link for the official artwork that SHE posted herself: http://tweetphoto.com/39423610, STOP WASTING TIME, and put official news on there and make a single article for it already, it ALREADY is receiving radio airplay, u can check mediabase!!.. well thats my request! thanks 65.34.72.38 (talk) 19:28, 16 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Not done wikipedia clearly states that sources must be reliable. Twitter is not. So until it is made official it won't be added. Sending a song to radio alone does not necessarily prove single release. Radio can in theory pick up any song. (provide the mediabase link if it exists please). -- Lil_℧niquℇ №1 (talk2me) 20:37, 16 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Singles

[edit]

I added Gimmie Dat and Speechless as singles becaues they weren't there. --MPQzy (talk) 03:50, 22 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Official date

[edit]

On October 12, 2010, Ciara confirmed through her Ustream, that the official album release date is December 14, 2010 and that all of the other release dates announced by numerous websites were false and rumored dates.

{{edit semi-protected}} I wanted to request that somebody updates the Promotion section on the album article. I think someone should add that she is currently on the Summerbeatz Tour in Australia. Which is PROMO for that country, i just think it should be added. :) thanks

72.186.27.77 (talk) 01:13, 20 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Not done: please be more specific about what needs to be changed. Please make requests in the form of "please change X to Y," not just a general idea of what you want different. This is so that an uninvolved editor can make the necessary changes without too much difficulty. elektrikSHOOS 03:10, 20 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

{{edit semi-protected}} I wanna request that you add to the Promotion section on this article. Nowhere, on here does it say that on December 13, 2010, Ciara made an appearance on the Wendy Williams Show, where she PROMOTED the album. Here is the source that she did plus video! http://www.rap-up.com/2010/12/13/ciara-calls-50-cent-her-best-friend/ ,, And adding to that Ciara will be performing on the Ellen Show, where she will perform "Gimmie Dat" for the first time. Here is another source of that: http://www.rap-up.com/2010/12/13/ciara-boots-up-for-release-week/ ,, Thanksss :)

72.186.93.122 (talk) 01:59, 14 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Not done: I'm sure that Ciara was on many different talk shows and promoted the album all over the place. However, we don't list every single instance of promotion, only the overall path. In any event, those websites are not reliable sources; if others did want to include the info, we need to cite the actual TV shows themselves. And, finally, we definitely would not add an upcoming promotion, because we have no guarantee it will actually occur (acts get bumped from shows all of the time), so per WP:CRYSTAL we wait until they actually happen before mentioning them anywhere.
