My removal of content

[edit]

I removed the "streaks in other sports" section because it has nothing to do with basketball, which is the name of this article. All of those other streaks can be found in Winning streak (sports). They definitely do not belong here. Jrcla2 (talk) 03:53, 17 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

To-Do

[edit]
  • Add Washington University Division III streak, and commentary on UConn breaking that mark
  • Add La Tech 54 game streak
  • Pictures?
  • Is the Byng HS streak the record for girls HS?
  • Check to see which team names should be wikified
  • Add Edmonton Grads
  • Add Wayland Baptist  Done

Possible references - before Florida State

[edit]

Not all of these references belong in the article, but I thought I would list a few of them in case some are worth adding.

  • Elliott, Rich (December 20, 2010). "Record-breaking 89th straight awaits UConn women". ctpost.com. Retrieved 30 December 2010.
  • Fulkerson, Vickie (Fulkerson). "It's record time for UConn". theday.com. Retrieved 30 December 2010. {{cite web}}: Check date values in: |date= (help)

Possible references - after Florida State

As above - possible references
