Merger proposal

[edit]

Both Bathampton Camp and this article are about the same place - although they are about different periods in history. I suggest they could be merged into one longer article.— Rod talk 16:52, 27 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Support From the sources there are Bathampton Camp is a likely stock enclosure. It would be better if it was merged into Bathampton Down. Thanks, Jaguar (talk) 07:48, 30 May 2011 (UTC) Oppose I am still unsure but if Bathampton Camp is actually a hill fort then it does deserve its own article. However if they are both separete then I would support the merger.Jaguar (talk) 21:18, 27 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]
As you can see from the sources I used for the expansion I've done I still can't find any evidence suggesting it was a hill fort & was most likely a stock enclosure. I also feel it is better to show the site in its wider archaeological context.— Rod talk 19:39, 29 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]
As the only oppose turned into a support and there were no further objections I have now done the merge.— Rod talk 09:03, 4 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]
