Boulgarophygon spelling
[edit]Boulgarophygon spelling with ou is oddball, in the English literature accepted spelling is with u, apparently the Boulgarophygon is a transliteration of the Middle Age Greek spelling when ου = ou stood for u, and Bulgar was spelled Boulgar. The modern universal accepted spelling is Bulgar, not Boulgar, see for example Runciman[1] and Treadgold. [2] I suggest to correct the spelling to accepted English form. Redirect from Bulgarophygon to Boulgarophygon was done without any discussion, with "precision" that discounts the accepted English form and conflicts with other citations in English WP. Any objections? Barefact (talk) 20:05, 28 December 2011 (UTC)
