I'll get to this shortly.--Sturmvogel 66 (talk) 20:45, 27 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]

  • So when did the English fleet disperse? On 8 September when Harold dismissed the local fyrd?
  • Probably better rephrased as: likely "was not used" at Hastings, likely did not happen at Hastings
  • on the Bretons division on Move link to first occurrence and add apostrophe for possessive.
  • This is awkward: The duke then led a counter-attack against the pursuing English forces which were killed, with some of them rallying on a hillock before dying.
    • Changed to "The duke then led a counter-attack against the pursuing English forces, with some of them rallying on a hillock before dying." Ealdgyth - Talk 18:45, 5 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]
  • Typo: two brothers lead the pursuit
  • Missing possessive? Although Orderic Vitalis figures are highly exaggerated
  • Combine cites 41 and 42
    • I assume you meant 40 and 41? They are actually two different footnotes - one is just the footnote and the other is the page and the footnote. Ealdgyth - Talk 18:45, 5 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]
  • Need ISBN for Howarth
  • Pics appropriately licensed.
  • External links good, no Dabs.--Sturmvogel 66 (talk) 06:16, 3 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]
I've seen this - hoping to get to it tonight. Ealdgyth - Talk 16:09, 5 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]
