OK, this looks in good shape. A few comments:

Lead

link Major general (United States) (Blunt) and Samuel Ryan Curtis
- Done
"at the Little Blue River" or just "the river" as it has been introduced already, same for Big Blue, although it would be better as "Big Blue River"
- Done, at the various points in the article I went with one or the other as it seemed best fit

- I was missing a clause at the end of the first one
I'm a little unsure about the fourth para, seems a bit too much detail for the aftermath
- I've cleaned it up a bit, removing a good deal of the detail.

main template for Missouri in the American Civil War at the top of the Background section. You should do this on all your Missouri ACW articles.

"a three-brigade unit" generally a battalion or regiment is a unit, a brigade or higher is a formation. Also, was this organised into a division? Also, should it be "a three-brigade formation" or "the three-brigade formation" ie was it his entire command, or just part?
- Rephrased signficantly and clarified
who took command of the KSM? Was Blunt's militia brigade from the KSM? How many militia did Curtis have that he sent to KC? Where they Kansas or Missouri militia? And Kansas City→Kansas City, Missouri
- 1) George W. Dietzler directly, but under Curtis's auspices. Clarified. 2) Yes, added 3) He had about 15,000 total, I've added the number 4) Kansas. 5) Done.

is the reason Curtis' militia couldn't go east of the BBR because it was out of the state?
- As per above, I've added some detail on this. Curtis had promised the governor of Kansas that they wouldn't go any further than was necessary to protect Kansas.

"whose Kansas militia units would not serve" would or could? Was it that they would do it, or they were willing but their orders did not allow them to?
- A bit of both. The Kansas governor didn't want them to, but the militiamen had no intention of doing so for the most part, either.

Unless this was incorrect, state this as fact rather than Moonlight's observation ie "Around 11:00, some of Shelby's men were approaching in support of Clark's brigade, and Blunt's command had also arrived."
- Done for Blunt, not for Shelby. Source explicitly states that 11:00 was when Moonlight sighted Shelby, although Blunt arriving at 11:00 is given in Sinisi

again, the aftermath seems a bit bloated, I would just stick to the immediate aftermath, one, maybe two following battles, then briefly summarise the rest of the campaign in a couple of sentences

given Shelby was the key commander who ensured the CSA prevailed, could you put the pic of him in the infobox? Alternatively, a pic of the Little Blue River if there is a reasonable one. You could add a pic of Blunt as the last pic on the Battle section, with the caption "Brigadier General James G. Blunt led the forces that reinforced the Union position at Little Blue River."
