This article badly needs information about sources. I was able to find an account of it in "The Welsh Wars of Edward I" by John Edward Morris, but it doesn't substantiate all the details. Where did you get this information, please?

I read a couple of books that mentioned it; 'The Last Prince of Wales' was a book I read a while back about it (sorry can't remember who the historian was)- that mentioned the battle but had few facts. Another was a biography of Edward I 'A Great and Terrible King' by Marc Morris which again had few facts about the battle. There is quite little information on the battle around for the public unfortunately, and some of the sources conflict. Was there much information on it in the book that you read?--Tlle1 (talk) 17:51, 27 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]
See for yourself. I think it is essential to list the sources you got the information from. If you don't know how to format the references, I can help you. Regards, looie496 (talk) 18:31, 27 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks, I might give it a read :). I'll probably see if I can find some more sources and references that contain info on the battle and document them on the page. The short page on the Battle of Moel-y-don could also use some references, although they are much easier to find since the battle is more famous (or should I say infamous) than this one. Thanks for the advice.--Tlle1 (talk) 22:44, 27 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]
I managed to dig out 'The Last Prince of Wales' from my bookshelf (the historian was David Stephenson). It refreshed my memory slightly. There were some decent facts in the book- apparently the English were operating from Dinefwr castle, and among the dead of the battle was the son of the Earl of Pembroke William de Valence. I'll add these to the page.--Tlle1 (talk) 23:05, 27 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Added the info and my reference, but I'm not sure whether I did it correctly or not.--Tlle1 (talk) 23:18, 27 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Great! I fixed the format and removed the tag from the article. I inserted a page number into the ref that I deduced using Google Books, but you should check that the page is actually the right one -- Google Books would only show me a snippet of the text. looie496 (talk) 23:32, 27 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Yep, that's the right one, thanks Looie.--Tlle1 (talk) 16:19, 28 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]
