Block quote[edit]

I'm not sure that it is a good idea to reproduce such a large block quote. Essentially this adds nothing to the topic as it is just reproducing what has already been written. The quote can be used as a source, but it should be rewritten in your own words. It may also be considered a copyright violation, but I am not familiar with the source that has been provided and as only limited bibliographic details have been provided I do not know how to check out its copyright status. — AustralianRupert (talk) 00:55, 18 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Ideas for improvement[edit]

This is not an area of expertise for me, however, I have the following suggestions for improvement:

  • rewrite text in own words (as per above);
  • add wikilinks;
  • re-structure the article to include a distinct and concise introduction in which the whole article is summarised, providing reasons why the subject is notable, followed by other sections of content (e.g. Context/Background to the Battle, Outline of the battle; Aftermath, Notes, References, See also, External links);
  • add more categories to the bottom of the article to improve navigation and traffic to the article;
  • add links to the article in other articles where appropriate;

Just a couple of ideas. Hope this helps. Cheers. — AustralianRupert (talk) 00:59, 18 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]
