Second Battle of Oituz[edit]

@Super Dromaeosaurus: I have created a redirect First Battle of Oituz. What is the best target for Second Battle of Oituz? It should not redirect to this disambiguation page, because the term is unambiguous. We have no English equivalent of ro:A doua bătălie de la Oituz (1916). I think the battle is part of The Romanian Debacle#Central Powers offensive, but that article does not mention Oituz. Certes (talk) 12:31, 25 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

@Certes:, I don't know, it doesn't seem to have been a very relevant battle and on Wikipedia it has been confused with the third battle for years, so it hasn't been mentioned too much. Probably the best solution is to create an article. Super Ψ Dro 12:42, 25 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

I don't know much about military history either, I could write it but it would probably be a short stub (and I've looked up some sources on the second battle and barely found anything). And I would say that the battle in Commemorative Cross of the 1916–1918 War is the second, since the order of the battles seems to be chronological and the Second Battle of Oituz occurred before the Battle of Bucharest and after the Second Battle of the Jiu Valley. I'm not sure why the Carpathians are mentioned between Oituz and Jiu. Super Ψ Dro 13:09, 25 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]
