Strategic Confederate Victory[edit]

Longstreet succeeded in his task of cover Johnston’s retreat to Richmond. While this may be a tactical victory on the Unions side they weren’t able to break through and disrupt the Department of Northern Virginia’s withdraws allowing Johnston’s entire force to pull back to Richmond, allowing for a overall strategic Confederate victory. 24.112.120.144 (talk) 05:23, 2 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Battle of Dam no.1[edit]
