Highwayman[edit]

I think that there should be some reference to Willie Nelson song, "The Highwayman." I was a highwayman. Along the coach roads I did ride/With sword and pistol by my side/Many a young maid lost her baubles to my trade/Many a soldier shed his lifeblood on my blade/The bastards hung me in the spring of twenty-five/But I am still alive.

the "virtually worthless" bit seems highly unneccessary —Preceding unsigned comment added by 173.74.13.109 (talk) 00:03, 9 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Christmas ornament?[edit]

What the heck does a Christmas ornament have to do with baubles? 173.69.171.72 (talk) 03:50, 30 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

In the UK, a "bauble" is a Christmas decoration - a small, shiny, decorative ball which you hang on your Christmas tree. As stated in the article. IndieSinger (talk) 12:22, 6 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Yes, for the Christmas decoration bauble see Christmas ornament page. I have deleted the picture. It is available on the Christmas ornament page. Raggedyland (talk) 05:36, 18 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Merge[edit]

To Christmas ornament. There may have been something distinct here before but now it's just a needless (and worse) repetition of the same material.

The "extended senses" are all linguistic and belong to Wiktionary. — LlywelynII 03:39, 14 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]

21 months, no opposition, am going to merge now. KDS4444 (talk) 22:11, 6 April 2017 (UTC)[reply]
