Stan Lee admits source of ideas[edit]

In the book Son of Origins, Stan Lee admits that he got the idea for Daredevil from Duncan Maclain, which is ironic, as Daredevil often pulls stunts from the Max Carrados books of Ernest Bramagh (e.g. being able to read newspapers due to hypersensitive touch allowing him to differentiate between the molecules of ink and paper), accomplishments eschewed in the Duncan MacLain books, as the author only sought to replicate events verified as achieved by blind individuals.
