In-universe order vs broadcast order

It could be worth pointing out somewhere that these are definitely not the same thing. A glaring example I noticed today is that "Hey Bulldog!" (24a/s2e11a) is the first time the bugs meet Bulldog (they explicitly talk about not knowing who he is, and Crick invents an interpretation machine to translate his speech) while in "Got to Get You Into My Life" (22b/s2e9b) the bugs already know Bulldog (he is already outfitted with Crick's machine and speaking to them) when he has lost his ball and Walter hides her (dubbed Betsy) from Bulldog.

So as a baseline, if anyone knows of any other episodes where Bulldog appears and the bugs know him (especially if there is a visible Crickterpreter with him speaking) these could be AD (After Dog) while episodes where he doesn't appear/speak could be BD (Before Dog).

If anyone knows of any other clear dividing points which indicate the in-universe chronological order and story progression between episodes I'd be interested in identifying them here, and also if we could find out if there are any official sources which have commented on this and might be cited to support in-article comment on it.

The only other thing I can think of is how in "I'll follow the sun" Blackbird leaves the bugs, so any episodes where she appears could be BP (Before Parting) namely IFTS itself, Glass Onion, and her eponymous Blackbird intro-flashback. "Please Mr. Postman" on the other hand, is clearly AP (After Parting) because the bugs contact her after she left and she returns.

The 4 Blackbird episodes don't seem to have any actual problems regarding their order like the 2 Bulldog ones, so I'm more interested in identifying actual contrasts between order of events in the series and order of episodes. Unless we can find a source which actually highlights the discrepancy it's probably too trivial to actually mention in the article yet. I'm just submitting this as evidence in case there are any claims added to the article implying that the broadcast order is necessarily the order in which the story happens. That would be false. Missing singers

Ideally if we could credit who sings EVERY song that would be good. Many are missing. ScratchMarshall (talk) 19:26, 3 July 2018 (UTC)
