Correct statement of theorem?
[edit]In the statement of the Erdős–Beck theorem, I don't know what the notation Ω(nk) means. Checking Beck's paper of 1983, I find that theorem 5.2 actually says there exist constants A and B such that the number of connecting lines containing at most A points of S is more than Bnk. Since the value of A may turn out to be smaller than n-k, it's not clear from this that the theorem as stated on the main page is true. Jowa fan (talk) 05:00, 1 November 2010 (UTC)
