Birthplace

[edit]

So was she born in nambia or south africa? the article says both, in more than one place too. — Preceding unsigned comment added by DeaconTaylor (talkcontribs) 22:21, 14 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]

I can't believe I never noticed this. Good call.  Mbinebri  talk ← 23:06, 14 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Her father is a minister. It seems she has two ID cards for security reasons. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 5.116.75.212 (talk) 12:50, 1 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Birth Date

[edit]

I see that Behati's birth date is given here as 1988-05-16. Most other sources I've found claim 1989-05-16. Is there a definitive reference? It seems most likely to me that 1988 is incorrect.--Apollograce (talk) 11:02, 10 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]

@Apollograce: - Although she was previously described as being born in 1989, I'm inclined to believe that since her own husband said that she celebrated her 30th birthday in 2018 according to Adam's Instagram post from the source provided , that May 1988 is her birthday. The 1989 was probably her "modelling age". Clear Looking Glass (talk) 14:01, 26 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Behati Princeloo Swapo .

[edit]

Is her father Leon Jooste? (A member of SWAPO, the Deputy Minister of Environment and Tourism in Hifikepunye Pohamba's first cabinet.) Isn't Behati a close friend of Miranda Kerr ? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 5.116.75.212 (talk) 13:06, 1 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Surname pronunciation

[edit]

I have corrected the English pronunciation of her surname as pronounced locally (in the video cited it is close to the "American" pronunciation she gives). Some Afrikaans surnames are pronounced slightly differently in English and Afrikaans. In Afrikaans the "oo" in Prinsloo is pronounced similarly to the "oo" in the Afrikaans "voor" and in the English word "poor" (examples given in Help:IPA for Dutch and Afrikaans). HelenOnline 07:14, 4 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]

I have also added the Afrikaans pronunciation to the best of my ability. HelenOnline 07:56, 4 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Picture

[edit]

That picture is really bad, I'm sorry. I know there's limits to what pictures you can put, but seriously. I would do it myself but I don't know how. Thanks. Snowglobe123 (talk) 00:20, 22 October 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Agreed, the pictures really does not do her any justice. The person who chose them must have had something against her. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 78.194.180.188 (talk) 16:32, 1 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Photo

[edit]

I changed the headlining photo to a much better one. SpiritedMichelle (talk) 01:36, 4 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]
