This place used to be called Kefar Gun. That's what it is called in maps circa 1940. A source is needed. Zerotalk 11:36, 18 August 2016 (UTC)[reply]
On the other hand, the official village list of 1940 has "Kefar Gun (previously Beit Zir'a)" and a map ca. 1930 says "Beit Zira", which suggests that the name changed in the other direction. This is confusing. Zerotalk 13:32, 18 August 2016 (UTC)[reply]
