on shell!?[edit]

There was an edit by MagnusPI saying that the B-R tensor is only symmetric on shell. I reverted it because I do not think that the claim is true.

In motivating the Belinfante-Rosenfeld one uses the equations of motion to link the asymmetry of the canonical tensor to the divergence of the spin current. It therefore might seem that the B-R tensor is symmetric only on shell. This is not true however. The only condition required for symmetry is the local Lorentz invariance (change of vierbein frame) of the action functional.
