Information on the Asteroid Wars series, book one Precipice etc... --213.22.5.71 (talk) 19:23, 25 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

What in Saturn's Moons does the following sentence in the article mean?

He is a cautious environmentalist, but rejects Luddism.

When did environmentalists become predominantly Luddites? That is what the sentence as written implies. It also tells us nothing about his actual views and why he would feel the comparison needs to be made , if indeed he has ever felt that way. It could just be an editor's point of view. A link referencing the comparison would be greatly helpful but better yet would be a description of his actual views with references.LiPollis (talk) 10:19, 15 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Yeah, it was such a bone-headed sentence that I eliminated it. It is the sort of thing that can be terribly misleading. It is enough to say that he supports an environmentalist stance. That said, I'm wrong! It is not enough to say that, but to say, well, whatever it is he says and have a citation for it!!! Gingermint (talk) 04:09, 26 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

If you read the introduction of Prometheans, Bova calls pretty much everyone a Luddite. Ketchupstan (talk) 20:22, 3 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]

The Hittite and sequel(s)?

[edit]

I checked the main article to see about possible sequels for "The Hittite", but didn't even see reference to the Hittite itself, published in 2010. As I don't follow the author closely, I hesitate to even add a stub for the book, since I don't know what section to put it in. Maybe some knowledgeable individual could update this entry. Thanks. --ota (talk) 19:12, 30 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Done, have a great day.Jarhed (talk) 00:26, 11 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Grand Tour Chronology

[edit]

I updated the GT chronology to actually match the source that was repeatedly linked to. The order it was in made no sense either in internal chronology or in publishing order - it wasn't either. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Drhamad (talkcontribs) 18:14, 11 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Missing "Power Play"

[edit]

Need to include his 2011 novel Power Play, even though it's really awful. --96.233.87.208 (talk) 06:32, 12 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Ben Bova dead?

[edit]

It seems like Bova has died on Nov 29. Couldn't find a journalistic source. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 88.115.93.192 (talkcontribs)

Yes, Scalzi's tweet also appears to support it. But we make no changes to the article until we have a reliable source. Schazjmd (talk) 20:53, 30 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]
