Contested deletion[edit]

This article should not be speedily deleted for lack of asserted importance because... Hi Foodie. Thank you for taking the time to review this article. I agree it has issues and is incomplete. However I would request that it not be considered for speedy deletion since the musician meets notability criteria: Has released two or more albums on a major label or one of the more important indie labels (i.e. an independent label with a history of more than a few years and a roster including several notable performers). The first album listed in the article was released by Cargo Records, a large independent label across Europe based in the UK. The second album is available through MGM Distribution, a large indie label in Australia. Has been featured in multiple non-trivial published works in reliable and reputable media (excludes school newspapers, personal blogs, etc.). The musician has been featured in print and online music media publications. I can have a list made available. It is my intention to further reference these in the article. In the meantime, a google search of "ben craven musician" should help back this up.

I hope we can keep this article alive for now. I will of course defer to your judgement. Thanks! Jasonxcurtis (talk) 01:08, 25 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]
