Does anyone have a good citation on his do voting record on the abortion bills?

[edit]

I put up a failed verification template on them - does anyone actually have a real citation here? I strongly suspect that line on those votes might be BS, but I want to give anyone a chance to weigh in. --Trevdna (talk) 03:04, 6 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]

I tried to dig into more details at https://votesmart.org/candidate/key-votes/117512/ben-mcadams/2/abortion, but that only lists a single vote in 2010 titled "Abortion and Homicide Law Amendments," the text of which can be found here[1]. Otherwise, it seems that Utah's local Planned Parenthood either gives a 0%, 33%, or 100% "rating" in 2011, suggesting they're using three total data points, and a 50% or 100% 2012 rating, suggesting two data points. I think it's technically true but intentionally misleading to say "He has a 100% rating from Planned Parenthood" with such minimal data. What do others think? Agreed. --Trevdna (talk) 00:36, 15 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Immigration Section

[edit]

"During the 2018-19 government shutdown over Trump's demands for additional funds to construct a wall, McAdams said he might be willing to vote for border protection funding, potentially including a wall, if it were part of a compromise bill that included immigration reform and "a fix for the Dreamers and DACA.""

That's a mouthful for one sentence, but I'm not sure how to break it out, and I think it's worth keeping all the info. Any thoughts? --Trevdna (talk) 02:14, 10 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]
