It is true that Berti is barely mentioned in mainstream media. I think she may be notable as a woman in the security apparatus at NATO, as a Jewish scholar in Arab studies, and as an (unusually?) prolific author on high profile current issues, such as Islamic non-state actors and European security. While I know that the number of publications does not make a scholar necessarily noteworthy, I've included a bibliography to show the range of peer reviewed and other academic publications that have included her.
