Death date[edit]

I like the article, and I'm sure the DYK hook correctly reflects the source, but like one of the DYK reviewers, I'm unable to view the online version from my IP. I checked for any mentions of Bevan's death in the British Newspaper Archive and found this notice in the Northampton Mercury of 13 July 1833 for the death on 2 July "at Leighton Buzzard, Beds, [of] B. Bevan Esq., civil engineer, an old correspondent of this paper." The List of 19th-century lunar eclipses also shows a partial eclipse at 0:43 GMT on 2 July 1833, so it seems Bevan may have died a day earlier than reported in your source. My mistake. The article uses 2 July 1833 as his death date. It's some other sources that mistakenly use 3 July. Rupert Clayton (talk) 06:29, 12 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]
