The son[edit]
There is a watercolour painter (Rev.) Richard Salvey Booth with matching dates; in the ULAN database[1]. Probably the same, but proof lacking. See commons:File:Pembroke castle, Pembrokeshire.jpeg. Charles Matthews (talk) 14:39, 12 October 2015 (UTC)

Early career[edit]
Booth was in trade, but details are murky. Via a Lloyd cousin he was involved with the firm at some point called "Lane, Son, Foster".[2] That makes it at least plausible that Booth with that Thomas Lane were the 1768 "speculators" mentioned in connection with the "Green and Walker tract".[3] Booth concentrated on the East India Company from about then.
