Côtes de BergeracBergerac wine — This article (translated from fr:Vignoble de Bergerac) is on the Bergerac wine region (subregion of South West France (wine region)), not on an individual appellation named Côtes de.... Tomas e (talk) 21:01, 27 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

  • Support. Côtes de Bergerac is ambiguous, see fr:Côtes de Bergerac, and highly confusing in English. It would often be taken to mean a particular one of the twelve AOCs of this region, more properly called simply Bergerac, but could also refer either to the whole region or to a particularly prestigious subset of the AOC. Long term I'm sure we'll have an article on each of the AOCs as well as the region as a whole, as they do in French Wikipedia, but this article as it stands is about the whole region. Perhaps Bergerac (wine district) would be an even better name? Andrewa (talk) 11:35, 6 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]
